ZHUG / S’CHUG

AKA YEMENITE SPICY SAUCE

8 spicy peppers

2 heads of garlic 

1 bunch of cilantro

⅓ cup Hawaij (also pronounce Hawayaj) (Yemenite-Jewish spice mixture of cumin, turmeric, black pepper, and cardamom)

½ Tbs salt

Grind everything together until you receive a smooth paste. 

You can dilute it with a little water.
